Polylactic acid is made from fermented plant starch, such as corn, cassava, sugarcane, or sugar beet pulp. The sugar in these materials is fermented to create lactic acid, which is then made into PLA. PLA is a natural, recyclable, thermoplastic polyester that is biodegradable under certain conditions.

In most cases, orders will be processed within 2 business days.  Once your order is processed for delivery, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that your order has shipped, along with tracking information. All orders shipping via our free shipping offer will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority mail (larger orders) and will usually be delivered within 2-5 business days after your order is processed. USPS Priority Mail is usually delivered within 2-4 days of being shipped. UPS ground usually takes 1-5 business days.  Please note that USPS & UPS shipping times are not guaranteed.  

Our shipping schedule may vary slightly during extremely busy times such as sales events and during the holiday season. 

Once an order has shipped, we are no longer responsible for how long an order takes to deliver to you. There are many factors that can affect shipping timelines, including weather, postal courier errors, etc.
